Ashantti Sousa

Ashantti Sousa joined the K-1 Visa Law team in March 2022 working as the firm’s immigration paralegal. Ashantti was born in Peru and came to the United States at 15 years old. Once she arrived in the U.S., she enrolled and went on to graduate from Miami Senior High School. After graduating high school, Ashantti earned her Associate’s Degree of Arts in Pre-Law and Associate’s Degree of Science in Paralegal Status from Miami-Dade College. While enrolled at Miami-Dade College, Ashantti interned as a paralegal at an immigration law firm, receiving a job offer after graduating from MDC. She then went on to Florida International University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

For nine (9) years, Ashantti, as an immigrant herself, has passionately served the immigration law system as a paralegal. Since joining K-1 Visa Law in March 2022, Ashantti has assisted several of K-1 Visa Law’s clients while being of service to our attorneys, Eddie and Maggie. She has also worked on immigration matters including deportation defenses, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and business/investment visas. When Ashantti is not devoting her time, knowledge and experience to her role as a paralegal, she is spending time with her loving husband and daughter.
