Sara St. Juste is a Haitian American, Miami-native and a law school graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. Sara joined the K-1 Visa Law team in November 2021 as the firm’s Law Clerk. Before attending law school, Sara earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from the University of Miami in May 2020. Throughout her time in law school, Sara has had the opportunity of working as a Judicial Intern with the Honorable Judge Darrin P. Gayles and as a Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. She has also worked as a Legal Intern with the Children and Youth Law Clinic at the University of Miami School of Law.
As a Law Clerk, Sara has had the opportunity of working on various immigration and criminal matters at the firm. As a child of immigrant parents herself, Sara has always taken on roles with the commitment of filling in the gap of disparity and inequity in both the immigration and criminal law system. In assisting Eddie and Maggie in legal research, drafting memorandums, etc., Sara continues to uplift K-1 Visa Law’s motto in implementing an aggressive defense and a humanitarian approach.
Sara took on the role of Public Engagement for K-1 Visa Law in August of 2024. Sara has helped manage the firm’s website, social media accounts, graphic designs, and video editing.
